Gianni Morandi – C’era un ragazzo che come me amava i Beatles e i Rolling Stones

There was a guy like me who loved the Beatles and the Rolling Stones / C’era un ragazzo che come me amava i Beatles e i Rolling Stones + If I lose you too is a single by Gianni Morandi, published in 1966 that reached the Italian first position for two weeks in 1967.

The cover of the record depicts Morandi sitting listening to the author of ” C’era un ragazzo”, Mauro Lusini, while he plays the guitar.

The arrangements of the two songs, both very well known, are edited by Ennio Morricone.
It is a song written by Franco Migliacci and Mauro Lusini for the lyrics and only by Lusini for music, and presented by Morandi at the Festival of Roses in 1966 in conjunction with the author’s version.
